Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up the first schedule of his much-awaited film Battle of Galwan. The 45-day non-stop shoot was held in Leh, Ladakh, capturing high-intensity war sequences against the backdrop of the mountains. Salman, who essays the role of an Indian Army officer, was spotted returning to Mumbai after the schedule, clean-shaven and without his moustache look that he sported during the Ladakh shoot.

According to an exclusive source, the film’s second and final schedule will commence on October 10, 2025, in Mumbai. The shoot is expected to wrap up by November. Actress Chitrangada Singh will also join Salman in this schedule. While the recce has been completed, the makers have kept the Mumbai locations under wraps.
Earlier, behind-the-scenes glimpses were shared by director Apoorva Lakhia and actor Ankur Bhatia, showcasing the camaraderie and intensity of the Ladakh shoot.
Mounted on a grand scale, Battle of Galwan revisits the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops — a rare border conflict that turned deadly despite the absence of firearms. The film promises to bring to life the bravery, sacrifice, and raw combat spirit of Indian soldiers during the standoff.
