In a shocking incident from Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area, Anivesh Shrivastava, the younger son of late Bollywood composer Aadesh Shrivastava, was allegedly involved in a car accident on Sunday morning. According to early reports, his red Range Rover rammed into a divider and toppled a statue installed at the chowk—ironically, the statue of Aadesh Shrivastava himself.
The location, named Aadesh Shrivastava Chowk, was inaugurated a few years ago in honour of the celebrated music composer. Anivesh, along with his mother Vijayta Pandit and elder brother Avitesh, had attended the renaming ceremony.
Accident Details
As per Jagrut Maharashtra News, a red Range Rover bearing a Haryana registration plate collided with the divider in the early hours of Sunday. Images from the site show a severely damaged road divider and the fallen installation.
Reports further state that the vehicle is registered under Vijayta Pandit, the late composer’s wife. Photos circulating online show Anivesh standing beside the damaged vehicle.
So far, officials have not confirmed whether a police complaint has been filed or if an investigation has been initiated.
