After taking Indian cinema to global heights with RRR, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is back with his most ambitious project yet — an untitled global action-adventure epic that brings together a stellar international and pan-Indian cast.

The acclaimed director has officially unveiled the first look of Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Mandakini, marking her powerful return to Indian cinema.

Priyanka Chopra’s First Look as Mandakini

In the striking first look poster, Priyanka Chopra Jonas appears as Mandakini — fierce, poised, and enigmatic — wearing a mustard saree while holding a pistol, standing confidently on the edge of a cliff. The image instantly sets the tone for Rajamouli’s upcoming spectacle.

The film is described as “an original action-adventure epic following heroes on a series of perilous missions around the world,” promising Rajamouli’s trademark storytelling infused with international flair.

A Dream Cast: Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran Join the Adventure

The project reunites Rajamouli with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who headlines the film, currently known by its working title SSMB 29. Following the success of Guntur Kaaram (2024), this film marks a significant global leap for Mahesh.

Also joining the ensemble is Prithviraj Sukumaran, the Malayalam star known for Lucifer and Salaar. His inclusion underscores the film’s scale — merging powerhouse talents from across Indian cinema into one global production.

Rajamouli’s Global Vision Continues

Following Baahubali and the Oscar-winning RRR, Rajamouli continues to redefine Indian cinema’s international footprint. With Mandakini, he seems ready to deliver another cinematic experience that bridges cultures, languages, and continents.

Priyanka Chopra, who recently starred in Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, and contributed to the Oscar-nominated short Anuja, adds major international star power to the project.
