Actor couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have embraced parenthood, welcoming a baby girl on their fourth wedding anniversary, November 15. The couple, who tied the knot in 2021 after years of dating, shared the heartwarming news on social media with a heartfelt message.
Rajkummar wrote, “The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary,” expressing gratitude and joy as they introduced their newborn to the world.
The news comes months after the couple announced their pregnancy in July through a pastel-themed Instagram post featuring a floral wreath, a cradle illustration, and the words “Baby on the way.” Rajkummar captioned it, simply, “Elated.”
Earlier this year, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Patralekhaa revealed that she and Rajkummar were planning a special trip to the southern part of New Zealand after the baby’s arrival. She even joked about doing “something crazier” like bungee jumping, though they missed exploring that region during their last visit.
Patralekhaa also shared that she was pregnant during their trip and got a glimpse of how Rajkummar would be as a father — caring, calm, and deeply supportive.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa first met on the sets of their 2014 film Citylights, where their on-screen chemistry blossomed into real love. They got married in November 2021 in an intimate ceremony and have been inseparable since.
Their daughter’s arrival marks a new and joyous chapter for the couple, and fans across social media are showering them with warm wishes and blessings.
