new Delhi: Vivek Oberoi has told how he helped Kareena Kapoor when she was studying in Mithibai College in Mumbai. In a new interview, Vivek said that he was a few years senior to Kareena. Kareena was having problems regarding attendance. Vivek also said that he reminded Kareena of how she had helped him.
Vivek Oberoi and Kareena have worked together in a few films like ‘Yuva’ (2004) directed by Mani Ratnam. The film also stars Rani Mukherjee, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Esha Deol. Their second film together was ‘Omkara’ (2006), directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film also stars Ajay, Saif Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Bipasha Basu. The last film of both was ‘Kurbaan’ (2009).
Speaking with Mashable India, Vivek said, ‘I remember Kareena was new to my college. I was two-three years senior to Bebo. Bebo was facing problems due to attendance. I said don’t worry, I am here. I took the details and came back after clearing his entire attendance from inside. I said, ‘Be happy, be happy.’
Vivek was recently seen in the political drama ‘Dharavi Bank’ alongside Sunil Shetty. The show premiered exclusively on the OTT platform MX Player, which received a good response from the audience. He will be next seen in the action thriller series ‘Indian Police Force’.
