Mumbai. There are some names in Bollywood who keep everything open. Due to this, they get embroiled in controversies many times, but they always keep their point of view with impunity. One such person is filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. Vivek has an open view on every subject. Recently, he made a tweet about Bollywood, which has now become a topic of discussion.
Vivek Agnihotri has talked about 4 low budget movies in his tweet. Vivek wrote, ‘4 short films with no stars, no marketing, no distribution support. The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2, Kantara and Rocketry. He earned around Rs 800 crore at the box office. The production cost of all these films was within 75 crores. Is Bollywood Blind, Deaf and Dumb? They don’t understand simple maths and can’t learn?’
unnecessary expenses can be saved
After this tweet of Vivek, once again there has been a debate on the money being shed at different levels in Bollywood. It is being said that unnecessary money is spent in the entertainment world, while better films can be made even in a low budget. Good content is capable of attracting the audience automatically. At present, many people are not liking this tweet of Vivek.
Let us tell you that the story of ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘Karthikeya 2’, ‘Rocketry’ and ‘Kantara’ has got a lot of love from the audience. People have liked the picturization of these films and the different style of storytelling. ‘Kantara’ is still getting good response in theatres.
