After receiving this letter, Tinu left the film and left for Kolkata and in those days Amitabh was looking for work in the film, he got this film. Tinu went to Amitabh again after about 6 months. When Amitabh asked to narrate the story, Tinu kept telling the story to him for 15 minutes and after that asked ‘when to start shooting for the film’. Didn’t even give Amitabh a chance to think. Everyone knows that the film ‘Kalia’ proved to be a milestone in Amitabh’s career.
