Countless tales of cruelty and deceit have been told throughout human history. One such story comes from our own country when a terrorist organization took birth in a foreign country. Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah and writer-director Sudipto Sen are soon coming up with a horrifying story of trafficking of women in what is considered to be the city of God i.e. Kerala. A glimpse of this was shown in a recently released short video where a state dignitary is shown talking about the systematic kidnapping and trafficking of thousands of women from Kerala to ISIS and other war-torn regions of the world. .

According to the statistics, more than 32000 women have been trafficked and it remains a major concern in the present times. Due to this a secret campaign is started to convert Kerala into an Islamic state. Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah said, “This story is about a human tragedy, which will shake you to the core.
When Sudipto came and narrated to me with his research of over 3-4 years, I cried the very first time. That very day I decided to make this film. I am glad that we are now going ahead with the film and we look forward to making a very real, fair and true story of events.” Sharing this, writer and director Sudipto Sen said,
“According to a recent investigation, since 2009 – around 32,000 girls from Kerala and Mangalore have been converted to Islam from Hindu and Christian communities and most of them migrate to Syria, Afghanistan and other ISIS and Haqqani-dominated areas. Despite accepting these facts, the government is not considering any definite action plan against such large international conspiracies led by ISIS-influenced groups.
Kerala and Mangalore are now the epicenter of most of the recent massacres in the subcontinent. The NIA is probing only 99 cases, despite about 32,000 young girls going missing from Kerala and Mangalore. Mass conversion through a deeply rooted conversion network has engulfed Kerala like a fire! In our research on this and throughout our field trips, we have seen the tears of mothers of runaway girls. We found some of them in prisons in Afghanistan and Syria.
Some have no test. Most of the girls were married to the dreaded terrorists of ISIS and they also have children. A bleak to bleak future awaits them. This important film is trying to listen to the cries of all the mothers who have lost their daughters.” So this interesting and horrifying story of human cruelty that brings to the audience the loss of innocence at the hands of human cruelty. Leaving no stone unturned to touch their hearts, stay tuned to know more about ‘The Kerala Story’!
