Satish told how due to the poor service of this airline, he had to pay more for a seat but still this airline sold that seat to someone else.
Satish Kaushik told on Twitter that he had given 25 thousand rupees for the middle seat on Go flight. He was on his way to Dehradun from Mumbai. But when he reached the plane, it came to know that his seat has been allotted in someone else’s name as well. Satish wrote on Twitter, ‘It is very sad GoFirst Airways, they have come up with a wrong way to earn money from passengers. 2 seats from my office including the middle seat in the first row were booked for Rs 25,000 but these people sold that seat to another passenger while my office paid for it.
Satish wrote in his next tweet that when help was sought, he was told that the passenger would go on the next flight but the passenger was from the same flight. Satish wrote, ‘When that passenger did not get a seat, the flight was stopped. After that I decided to give him a seat. The good thing is that the flight attendant and air hostess thanked me for this. He also said that he will get my money back for that seat but I told him that it will never happen. And as a result the airline refused to refund.
Expressing displeasure, Satish wrote, ‘Is this right? Is this a way to make more money by harassing a passenger? It’s not about getting the money back, it’s about getting your point heard. I could have stopped the flight but looking at the rest, I thought everyone was waiting for 3 hours already. Best wishes to you Go First Airway.
