Rohit Roy, known for his appearances in movies like Kaabil, Mumbai Saga, and Shootout at Lokhandwala, recently talked about a low phase in his career during the years 2013-14. He revealed that he had reached out to directors and producers for work, including Karan Johar, questioning why he wasn’t being cast in his movies despite receiving praise for his performances.
“I have called people and said that I want to work with you. Recently, I called Karan Johar and said that I have known you for such a long time, I am doing good work, you say that I am doing good work, so why are you not giving me work?” Rohit shared in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.
However, Rohit has now come to realize that everyone goes through their own struggles. He jokingly added that Karan might contact him after watching the interview and cast him in the sequel of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”
Apart from his film career, Rohit gained popularity for his role in the TV show “Swabhimaan” and also appeared in daily soaps like “Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand” and “Kkusum.”
