Ranveer singh (Ranveer Singh) has been surrounded by controversies after doing a nude photoshoot for a magazine. Many people accused him of spreading obscenity. Two FIRs were also registered against the actor in this regard, after which many Bollywood stars came out in support of the actor and appealed not to create unnecessary controversy regarding his nude photoshoot.

Mumbai Police took action on the FIR registered against Ranveer Singh and summoned him to appear before the police. Now, Ranveer has sought two weeks’ time to appear before the Mumbai Police. According to the report of ANI, the actor was summoned by the Mumbai Police on 22 August. However, after the actor asks for two weeks’ time, the Chembur police will issue a fresh summons by fixing a new date.

ANI tweeted, ‘Nude photoshoot controversy. Actor Ranveer Singh was summoned by the Chembur police station to appear tomorrow. Actor has sought 2 weeks time to appear, now Chembur Police will send a fresh summons by fixing a new date: Mumbai Police.

A case was registered against Ranveer Singh in Chembur police station.
An NGO and a Mumbai-based lawyer had filed separate applications to the Chembur police last month, demanding that cases be registered against Ranveer. A case was registered against the actor under the IPC for selling obscene material and hurting the sentiments of women. Along with this, a case was also registered under the Information Technology Act.

Ranveer Singh is facing severe criticism from people due to his nude photoshoot, although the actor’s friends and Bollywood stars are supporting him. Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vidya Balan, Twinkle Khanna, Swara Bhaskar, Pooja Bedi, Ram Gopal Varma and other celebrities came out in defense of the actor on social media.
