Rakesh Roshan explains the reason behind the failure of films

Rakesh Roshan explains the importance of singing in films
He further says, ‘Another big problem is that less attention is being given to the songs in the film. Earlier there used to be 6 songs in a film. These songs helped the actors to become superstars. Being a superstar is very difficult at the moment. You see the songs of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna… their songs used to be such an important part of the film. Songs played a huge role in making his films super-duper hits. For example, take Pushpa or RRR. Every song became a craze. So we should learn from his success.
Rakesh Roshan emphasizes on origin stories
Rakesh also said that unlike Hindi films, Telugu and Tamil films still stick to ‘origin stories’ and are being presented very well keeping in mind the ‘commercial factor’. He said that ‘Baahubali’ is very similar to his 1995 film ‘Karan Arjun’, these films had songs that are ‘larger than life’ and hence people liked them.
