Nagma B’day: Nagma, who became a hit from the first film, left the industry, has not married till date

Mumbai: Nagma married Salman Khan at the age of just 16. Had made Bollywood debut with the film ‘Baagi’. Very young glamorous and beautiful actress was taken by the film industry. It was Nagma’s charm that in 1990 Hindi’s seventh highest-grossing film was ‘Baaghi’. After the success of this film, Nagma had a line of films. The real name of the actress known as Nagma is Nandita. The daughter of businessman Arvind Pratap Singh Morarji and Shama Qazi, she was born on 25 December 1974 in Mumbai. She got the name Nagma in the film industry.

Nagma, who became an overnight star with her debut film ‘Baaghi’, worked in several hit films one after the other. Worked in Bollywood films like ‘Sanam Bewafa’, ‘Police Aur Mujrim’, ‘King Uncle’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Ek Rishta’, ‘Kunwara’, ‘Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon’, but could not achieve much success. On the advice of a friend, Nagma turned to South’s film industry and achieved bumper success there.

He also worked in Bhojpuri film and after that he retired from acting. Nagma last worked in the Bhojpuri film ‘Janam Janam’. His pair was well established with Ravi Kishan. Nagma’s name was associated with cricketer Sourav Ganguly in the year 2000. Both were often seen together. Although, there was a lot of talk about their relationship, but both never said anything openly. After about 3 years, both of them also separated. Nagma has not made anyone her life partner yet. Nagma’s look has changed a lot in the last 48 years.
