Modern Love Mumbai Trailer: The Indian version of the hit US anthology series released on Thursday evening. The trailer was launched in Mumbai at an event organized by the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video named Prime Video Presents. This series is the first of three versions of the real version. The Mumbai chapter of the series has brought together six filmmakers- Vishal Bhardwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Srivastava and Nupur Asthana. The trailer begins with a voice-over about energy and love, with scenes from the city of Mumbai. Then we get a glimpse of six stories of love. A writer who does not feel the support of her partner, a married couple rediscovers their relationship, a woman from the North East who calls her son’s girlfriend a ‘vegetarian witch’, a woman is attracted to another woman And a gay man hides his sexuality from his conservative parents. The trailer on Prime Video India’s social media handle was accompanied by the caption, ‘Bringing you the stories of the city of dreams.’


Amazing Stories in Modern Love Mumbai
The anthology includes Raat Rani directed by Shonali, starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bhupendra Jadawat and Dilip Prabhawalkar. The second story is Hansal Ki Bai, titled by Tanuja, Prateek Gandhi and Ranveer Brar. Vishal Bhardwaj has directed Mumbai Dragon, which stars Yeo Yan Yan, Meiyang Chang, Wamika Gabbi and Naseeruddin Shah. Alankrita has directed My Beautiful Wrinkles, starring Sarika, Danesh Razvi, Ahsaas Channa and Tanvi Azmi. Dhruv’s I Love Thane stars Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateek Babbar, Aadhar Malik and Dolly Singh while Chitrangada Singh and Arshad Warsi star in Nupur’s Cutting Chai.

Inspired by the famous ‘New York Times column’, the series Modern Love is directed by filmmaker John Carney. Its Indian version will showcase the tales of the heart of the city of Mumbai. The other versions of the series are Modern Love: Chennai and Modern Love: Hyderabad.
