Mumbai. Bollywood’s famous actress Katrina Kaif, who is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming horror-comedy film ‘Phone Bhoot’, said that she would like to do South films. The actress has done a few films in the South, including the Telugu films ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Allari Pidugu’ and the Malayalam film ‘Balaram Vs Tharadas’.

Elaborating on her future plans, Katrina said, “If ever there is a great script, which has a strong character, language will not be a barrier for me. We have some extraordinary directors working in South India.

Katrina Kaif praised Mani Ratnam and his recent release ‘Ponniyin Selvan: 1’. The actress said, ‘The best and latest example is Mani Ratnam sir’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan: 1’, which is a wonderful film. It has beautiful frames and music. Making a film on such a large scale proves the worth of a reputed director. Katrina’s first film Phone Bhoot after marriage with Vicky Kaushal also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. Produced by Excel Entertainment, the film is set to hit the theaters on November 4, 2022.

While celebrating their first Diwali after marriage, Katrina-Vicky were seen enjoying this festival fiercely.
