In a conversation with ‘ETimes’, Kartik spoke about working in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and also what kind of expectations he has from himself. He said, ‘I was very excited from day one. This is the first time, I am working in a horror-comedy. Despite being a completely different film, it looks like the best sequel to a film. I felt like a superhero when I dressed like Rooh Baba. After this, he told whether he is worried about the comparison of his film with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. To this Karthik said, ‘I think it has to happen. I don’t think much about it.’
Rom-com image should not be damaged
After this, Karthik told what he thinks about his rom-com (Kartik Aaryan Movies) image. He said- ‘I am not trying to break that rom-com image of me or break its typecasting. It’s about the script. If I like the script, I say yes to the projects. If I get three rom-com projects one after the other, and all three of them have good scripts, I would love to do all three of them.
Karthik Aryan fame
Kartik also talked about how he handles his fame. He said, ‘I have always liked to keep myself grounded. Fame should be on-screen only, not off-screen. On managing his many films at once, he said, “I never wanted this to happen. This happened because of the pandemic. So the dates started overlapping and I got very busy. I usually focus on one film at a time. All the movies have very different characters. It was very difficult to manage the time between the shoots.
Have set foot in the industry
Then Karthik talked about establishing his foothold in the industry and said, ‘I think I still have miles to go. There is a long way too. Over time, my goal has only changed. Earlier it was for my first film, now I want to get a chance to be a part of the best films.
