Imran Khan, known for his acting debut in the 2008 romantic comedy Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, took a break from Bollywood after the failure of Katti Batti in 2015. However, he recently hinted at a potential comeback to the industry. This unexpected announcement came in response to a fan’s comment on veteran actor Zeenat Aman’s Instagram post.

The fan expressed their desire to see Imran return to the big screen, saying, “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera @imrankhan kab karega.” Imran noticed this comment and responded with a challenge. He said, “Chalo Aditi, let’s leave this to the internet… 1M likes, and I’ll make it happen (shake hands emoji).”

Imran’s reply quickly gained popularity, receiving 57,742 likes so far. Many users flooded the comment section, expressing their excitement and anticipation for his return. Some even went as far as searching for Aditi’s comment just to like Imran’s reply. Others were curious about where exactly Imran’s comment was located.

One fan urged Imran to follow through on his promise, saying, “hojayenga baad mai palatna mt (smile emoji) (If it happens, stick to it).” Another suggested a sequel to the 2011 dark comedy Delhi Belly, saying, “comeback with Delhi belly 2 plz.” And a third fan expressed their hope that this wasn’t just a joke.

Imran Khan’s career in Bollywood has been notable. As the nephew of actor Aamir Khan, he even portrayed the childhood version of Aamir’s characters in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992). Imran’s lead role debut came with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary.

Throughout his career, Imran has appeared in various films, including I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Break Ke Baad (2010), Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012), Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013), and Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara! (2013).

Now, with his potential comeback on the horizon, fans eagerly await Imran Khan’s return to the silver screen. Will he fulfill their wishes and make a triumphant comeback? Only time will tell.
