Mumbai. Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ has completed 9 days at the box office. The film is getting good response from the audience. The film collected Rs 55 crore on the opening day. The film has been earning record breaking numbers since day one and has created many histories. Meanwhile, Rajukmar Santoshi’s ‘Gandhi Godse: Ek Yudh’ released on January 26 to compete with ‘Pathan’. But the film could not stand in front of ‘Pathan’. The film earned 80 lakhs on the opening day and 34 lakhs on the second day. After this, the screening and earnings of the film also decreased.

Now to compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’, the film of Bollywood veteran filmmaker and National Award winning director Hansal Mehta and Anubhav Sinha will come out. The name of the film is ‘Faraj’. Faraj is based on a real incident. The film is based on the 2016 terrorist attacks in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. There are many talented actors in the film.

‘Faraj’ is directed by Hansal Mehta and its producer is Anubhav Sinha. The trailer of the film was released two weeks ago, which has been well received by the audience and critics. Hansal Mehta is known for his style of making films. He has given many superhit films like Shahid, Ometra, Chhalaang. He got a lot of accolades by making ‘Scam 1992’ web series.

Now he has high hopes from ‘Faraj’ as well. But Pathan’s ‘Toofan’ is still intact at the box office. Pathan has done a business of 336 crores in India in 8 days. While the overseas collection of the film has become Rs 667 crore. The film collected Rs 17.50 crore on Wednesday. Even on the 8th day of release, this much collection is a big deal for Pathan. So many films do not even have an opening day collection.
