He added, “I took Sanam Teri Kasam as a learning experience. I understood that I can spend my entire life on a film set. What if I didn’t like the experience? I was open to going back to Delhi and starting my own business or something. But it was only after this experience that I realized that I should stay here all my life, no matter how much time does it take for me to become a great filmmaker or a great actor.”
It used to be all over his stint with Sanam Teri Kasam that society suggested him to change into an actor. “Whether it’s Harsh bhai or Mawra or director or Shanoo ma’am (Shanoo Sharma, casting director), etc. Some really great people came into my life and they told me that you are not a director, you are an actor. So, I thought let’s try acting. I never thought of becoming an actor,” he stated.
