New Delhi. Veteran English comedian Leslie Phillips, best known for his roles in the hugely popular ‘Carry On’ series of films and who lent his voice to the Sorting Hat in ‘Harry Potter’, has died after a prolonged illness. As ‘Daily Mirror’ reports, Phillips, who will be remembered for catching phrases like ‘ding dong’ and ‘hello, I say’ in the ‘Carry On’ movies (though he starred in just four of them) Was 98 years old.
