Censor Board’s scissor on Shahrukh’s ‘Pathan’, film got U/A certificate, this change happened regarding ‘Besharam Rang’

Mumbai: The controversy over Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is not taking its name to stop. The film is being opposed since the teaser surfaced. Alam is that the film seems to be mired in controversies even before its release. Now the scissors of the censor board have gone on Shahrukh’s ‘Pathan’. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested several changes in Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s most awaited film ‘Pathan’, now some dialogues and some scenes in the songs of the film will be removed.

Fans are very excited about this film of Shahrukh and Deepika Padukone. But this film was heavily mired in controversies before its release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had suggested several changes in ‘Pathan’. This whole controversy started with the film’s song ‘Besharam Rang’, so there is a change in this song as well. From dialogue changes to censoring of several scenes, the CBFC had talked about making more than 10 cuts in ‘Pathan’.

Deepika Padukone’s dance scene also changed
There was a lot of uproar over Deepika’s bikini in Shah Rukh and Deepika’s song ‘Besharam Rang’. According to media reports, the shorts of Deepika’s butts have been replaced with ‘side pose’. Apart from this, the sensual dance has also been cut from the song ‘Bahut Tang Kiya’. And other shorts have been changed. As of now, it is not confirmed what changes have been made by the censors regarding Deepika’s controversial orange bikini.

‘Pathan’ gets U/A certificate
CBFC chairperson Prasoon Joshi had told PTI while talking about the cuts of the film, “I should not need to reiterate that our culture and faith is glorious, complex and subtle. As I have said before that it is very important to maintain trust between the creators and the audience and the creators should always work in this direction. After these cuts, ‘Pathan’ has been given a U/A certificate. Shah Rukh’s film ‘Pathan’, directed by Siddharth Anand, is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023.
