Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa and Kartik Aryan’s Shehzada Tesear: The country has slowly recovered from the bite of Corona, but after OTT, Bollywood is proving to be very slow in trying to bring people to the cinema halls. This year many Hindi films made at the cost of crores of rupees were released in theatres. But when these films reached the box office, the audience left the theaters disappointed. Actually In the era of OTT, the audience who were crazy about the content saw the content of every language. But Hindi cinema makers are still trying the ‘remake formula’. Leave the old talk, even today the teasers of two films have been released. One is Ajay Devgan’s ‘Bhola’ and the other is Karthik Aryan’s upcoming film ‘Shehzada’. But where the talk should have been about the teasers of both these films, people on social media started debating about their real films.

Remake of Tamil-Telugu stories
Actually both ‘Bhola’ and ‘Shahzada’ are official remakes of South films. The film ‘Bhola’, directed by Ajay Devgan, is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ released in the year 2019. ,Kathy’s story is about a convicted man who wants to meet his daughter for the first time after his release from prison. But a lot happens to him before he reaches his daughter. At the same time, the second teaser of ‘Shehzada’ has come. Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon starrer this film is directed by director Rohit Dhawan, brother of Varun Dhawan. This film is also a Hindi remake of Telugu drama ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’. Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ was released in theaters in 2020. In the teaser of his film, Karthik is seen in tremendous action mode for the first time. But the problem is that people have already started comparing Karthik with Allu Arjun.

Ajay Devgan said on Shahzada – have seen this too
What to say about the users on social media, Ajay Devgan himself has also tweeted on the trending word #Remake. Tweeting on the ‘Shehzada’ teaser, Ajay wrote, ‘Yeh bhi remake hai kya? It seems to have been seen somewhere. That means even Ajay Devgan has already seen this film of Karthik.

The comparison has already started on both these films. But talking about this year, the anger of the audience on the lack of content in Hindi cinema and the habit of spending money on remake films has been seen a lot on social media. Akshay Kumar has been trolled a lot on social media by making remake films like ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Katputli’. Whereas ‘Vikram Vedha’ Hindi audience has already seen the original, so Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan also could not pull people to the cinema.

The problem with remake films is that most of these films are remakes of those South films, which are available in Hindi and have been released only in the last few years. Many films including Jahnavi Kapoor’s ‘Mili’, Rajkumar Rao’s ‘HIT’, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ are remakes of South films. Amidst all these films, Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2’ has emerged as an exception, which is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. In fact, this is the only remake film of this year, which is getting a lot of love from the audience and box office collection.

Now it has to be seen whether Karthik Aryan as ‘Shahzada’ and Ajay Devgan as ‘Bhola’ are liked by the audience more than the original or they will also be included in the list of ‘flop Hindi remakes’.
