Benedict praises Bollywood
In an interview just before the release of the film, Benedict praised Bollywood. “There are incredible Indian actors, whether they were born in the UK, like Sir Ben Kingsley or Dev Patel, whom I have had the privilege of working with. I mean it’s obvious that you have an incredibly talented and incredible cinema. I love filmmakers who have worked in the English language and you have a huge impact. I think Bollywood needs to be a part of MCU. Bring an Indian superhero.
Shahrukh and Hrithik Superheroes
This happened when Benedict was asked to name a Bollywood actor who he thinks could be a part of the MCU and he named Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. “Khan is great,” he told PTI. Shah Rukh has acted as a superhero in ‘Ra.One’, while Hrithik played the role of a superhero in the film ‘Krrish’.
