Neil Nitin Mukesh, who worked with Desai on the film “Jail,” described him as a genius and a visionary artist who spread love to everyone. Actor Riteish Deshmukh remembered Desai as a soft-spoken visionary and expressed his condolences to his family and loved ones.
Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta also mourned Desai’s death, describing him as the best at what he did and someone who always made life easier on set. Actress Parineeti Chopra expressed her heartbreak at the news and praised Desai’s groundbreaking work, wisdom, and artistry.
