Science fiction film could not start
Akshay Kumar’s Mission Lion is currently postponed for a long time. Jagan Shakti was going to direct this film and it would have been a science fiction. Akshay Kumar, along with Mission Lion, would have completed the hat-trick of the Mission series. This great series started with Mission Mangal. Interestingly, two out of the three films in this mission series would have been of Jagan Shakti. Jagan Shakti made his debut with Mission Mangal and during the shooting of this film, he narrated the story of his science fiction film to Akshay Kumar. At the behest of Akshay, Vashu Bhagnani financed the film.
Movies release date announced
Akshay Kumar currently has a plethora of films. He currently has around 17-18 projects out of which seven films have been announced and are ready for release or are being completed at the earliest. Recently the release dates of Akshay Kumar Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Sooryavanshi, Rakshabandhan, Ram Setu and Prithviraj have also been announced.

Many films of Akshay Kumar are also clashing. While Sooryavanshi will have to clash with Hollywood film Marvels, his film Prithviraj will give a tough competition to John Abraham’s film Attack. Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is also clashing with the English film Batman and it is believed that some film will clash with Rakshabandhan as well.
